My Story Unveiled

My journey began at the weaving bench. There is a meditative power in chainmaille—the rhythmic opening and closing of thousands of tiny rings to create something unbreakable. It is ancient armor reimagined for the modern world; a weight on the skin that reminds you of your own boundaries and your own strength.

But hours of working with cold steel and stiff wire take a toll. My hands were dry, my muscles ached, and I realized that the "armor" I was making for the outside needed a partner for the inside.

From the Bench to the Garden
I turned to the earth to find the balance. I began studying traditional herbalism, looking for the same time-tested reliability in plants that I found in metal. I started steeping local, organic botanicals in golden oils, seeking a way to mend the skin and soothe the spirit after the day’s "battle" was done.
